22^nd January, 2007		Government of Bihar accorded the administrative approval
05^th March, 2007		Structure & functions of FMISC notified by Water Resources Department (WRD), Govt. of Bihar (GoB).
05^th April, 2007		Procurement Plan of Rs 214.6 lac under DFID fund of the project approved by WRD, GoB.
14^th November, 2007		Agreement between the World Bank & Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India signed for extension of closing date and additional funding.
6th Feb 2008		Phase 2 proposal sent to World Bank via Finance Department GoB and GoI
30th June 2008		FMIS Phase 1 successfully completed.
4th July 2008		Final procurement plan of FMIS Phase 1 approved.
31^st May 2010		DFID Grant Agreement (Grant Number TF096841) signed between the World Bank & Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India: Bihar Flood Management Imlementation support Project II. Main objective of this project to strengthen the basic institutional framework for flood Management and to improve the flood warning and preparedness for the resident in targated Area of Bagmti Adhwara basin.
02^ndJune 2010		Procurement plan for Rs. 675.00 Lakh (Grant Portion) Approved by the Word Bank.
18^th January 2011		Government of Bihar (Cabinet) accorded the Administrative Approval for INR 825.00 Lakh. (World Bank Grant : 675.00 Lakh + State Contribution INR 150.00 Lakh.
11^th December 2012		The World Bank extended the closing date of FMIS-II from 31^stDecember 2012 to 30^th November 2014.
